Tornerías Mosque
multicultural architectural heritage
The Tornerías Mosque is a ninth-century monument located in the historic center of Toledo, an exceptional example of Islamic art in the city. Built over an ancient basilica structure from the Visigothic period, it preserves its original essence with horseshoe arches and a careful arrangement of brick and masonry. Today, this emblematic space also houses the Regional Crafts Center of Castilla-La Mancha and the Tourism Promotion Office of Castilla-La Mancha in Toledo. In addition, it will house a craft work space, which will serve as a meeting point between innovation and tradition.
